From My Kitchen Presenting...Pancake with Sweet Berries Sauce


Gigih pulak buat entri hari ni kan...nie dah entri kedua untuk hari nie. Sementara ada masa nie cepatlah saya mengupdate blog nie. Nanti bila dah sibuk, mau makan bulan tak berupdate blog. Sampaikan bersawang jadinya. Pulak tue asyik cerita pasal makan je. Sorry la kalau uolls bosan membaca tentang makanan nie semua. Ini je pun cerita yang boleh dikongsi buat masa ni. Hajat nak membuat pancake nie dah lama disimpan. Dari sehari ke sehari tak jugak buat. Tapi bila membaca blog-blog yang meletakkan gambar pancake yang mereka buat, saya jadi begitu terliur. Nak kena buat jugak nie.

So tadi minta hubby beli bahan-bahan on the way dia nak balik ke rumah. Petang tadi dah sibuk buat agar-agar chocolate so tunggu malam sikit baru buat batter pancake nie. Senang je nak buatnye tapi kalau tengah malas benda senang macam nie pun rasa payah nak buat. Resepi nie diambil dari website ini.





Pancake With Sweet Berries Sauce

225g plain white flour
1tsp baking powder
15g granulated sugar
2 large eggs
300ml milk
250g mixed berries
15g icing sugar
A little oil to grease pan if required
Greek yoghurt or crème fraiche

Method

1. Place the flour, baking powder, sugar, eggs and milk in a blender and process until smooth. Cover and place in the fridge for at least 30 mins.

2. Place the berries, icing sugar and one to two tablespoons of water in a food processor and process to a smooth puree. Strain into a jug and sweeten with a little extra icing sugar to taste.

3. Pre-heat a non-stick frying pan until hot, and add two teaspoons of oil. Pour in two tablespoons of the batter and cook until bubbles begin to appear. Turn the pancake and cook for a further minute, or until golden brown.

4. Remove from pan and keep warm in a clean tea towel. Repeat until all the batter is used.

5. Serve the pancakes warm, drizzled with a little honey and the fruit sauce, and a dollop of Greek
yoghurt or crème fraiche
